Current & Past Shows
For Jeff Robb 2012 is a busy year. Besides two prestigious exhibitions in London, the city where he is based, at Affordable Art Fair and London Art Fair 2011, he also has his work showcased at SCOPE in New York and in Hong Kong. In Hong Kong, at Jiang Art Gallery he will have the whole gallery to himself.
In 2010, Jeff Robb's art has travelled between the US and UK, establishing him as one of the most celebrated contemporary artists. He has been at SCOPE in Miami, Art London at Royal Hospital Chelsea, and Royal Academy Summer Exhibition where he attracted quite a lot of interest.
Other notable past shows and events he has attended include the Fourth International Exhibition of Holography, which was held in Illinois, Chicago in 2005; Your History at Mediac Gallery in London in 2002; Living with Lasers at the Science Museum in London, back in 2001; and 42 Holograms in Smiths Gallery in London, back in 1994
As most contemporary artists that intrigue with their art, Jeff Robb has not failed to receive a multitude of commissions. One of these commissions, by the Island of Jersey, has in fact led to the creation of Portraits of Her Majesty the Queen, which brought him international fame and has become perhaps his best-known work. Another commissioned piece was portraits of Grace Jones, which was created with the same technique employed in the portrait of the Queen. Other commissions include the Eden Project and BMW Cars of the Future.
