Latest Companies Investing in Oil Gas and Energy

The Latest Companies Investing in Oil Gas and Energy? Ask the Experts at Compare The Financial Markets

The oil, gas and energy markets have always been steady ventures for investors, as they are vital to the world's industries. Oil, gas and energy each play a big role in the political and economic power of countries and without them, everything would come to a basic stand-still.

Investing in oil gas and energy is not only viable, but vital to the development of countries and taking steps into the future. Now, with Asian markets on the rise and the European markets recovering from the recession, big companies are investing in oil gas and energy again. Here's a short list of some of these major companies:

Google: The internet giant has been making forays into renewable energy, with one of its biggest latest investments being towards the Jasper Power Project in South Africa. This solar energy venture saw a $12 million investment from Google in May this year.

Recon Technology: This Chinese service provider (focus on oilfields) has just announced a major investment in Avalon Oil and Gas Incorporated. Their purchase is that of 2.8 million shares ñ a rather substantial amount, to say the least.

United Arab Emirates: Not strictly a company, but definitely one of the biggest players in the market. The United Arab Emirates has announced that they plan to invest roughly $25 billion in gas development projects. This investment is projected to stretch over the five coming years.

GDF Suez: This French company has just teamed up with two of Japanís major companies, Mitsui and Mitsubishi, to invest in natural gas in the Unites States. Their investment is standing at $7 billion collectively.

If these companies investments are anything to go by, it's clear that the oil, gas and energy market is most definitely still a force to be reckoned with.
