Investors Buy Mairi-Luise Tabbakh Photography
With a background in editorials, for the likes of Fault and Inked magazine, Mairi has chosen the right time to begin presenting and selling her work publicly. In a joint exhibition titled ‘Human Relations’ at Imitate Modern, she has proven her work can stand out in a gallery space as much as it does on a magazine cover. The exhibition was curated by Sascha Bailey and also shows work by Fenton Bailey. Mairi already has a fan and investor in Lord Bath, and has even photographed him in her ‘Wonderland’ series, as well as British actor and model Max Irons, who she photographed for the April 2013 issue of Fault magazine; but all that is only the beginning.
Following the fantastic opening night of the ‘Human Relations’ show at Imitate Modern in Marylebone, with its glamorous guest list and seductive atmosphere, interest is ever increasing and Mairi is fast becoming a name to remember in the art world. Attendees to the event included David Bailey and his wife Catherine, as well as TV stars Jessica Lowdnes and Kimberley Garner, all enthusiastic to show their support. Mairi’s talent has been thrust into the limelight with no fear that she will left behind in the shadow of the Bailey name as her pieces continue to attract attention and increase in value.
With experience behind her and ambition pushing her forward, Mairi-Luise Tabbakh is sure to attract more and more attention in the years to come. This is undoubtedly the turning point in her career, and incidentally, the ideal time to invest in her work.
